Owned by the same family for 13 generations, Chateau du Moulin Rouge is a small but perfectly formed Cru Bourgeois estate which lies in between Margaux and St Julien. A great favourite with the team due both to the quality of the wine and the warmth of the Ribeiro family. 18 hectares are planted with 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc, vines are on average 40 years old.

Aged for 12 months in French oak, only around 8,500 cases are made. Generous ripe black and red berry fruits alongside spice and oak. Intense palate with good concentration of fruits and elegant tannins.
