Beautiful old-vine Carignan from a Mediterranean vineyard planted in 1890 – over 130 years old! Carignan makes red wines with powerful and complex fruit and spice aromas, and older vines concentrate these characteristics further. Smooth, yummy and very more-ish - red wine that puts a smile on your face!

Our old Carignan remains true to itself and fortunately was not affected by the severe frosts of April 2021. The grapes were able to ripen perfectly and offer us a nose with aromas of wild strawberries, juice fresh grapes, bay leaves and green pepper. The first mouth is supple, frank and clean. The tannins are silky and the natural freshness of this grape variety maintains a pretty fruit in the mouth on the jinx, the fig but also spices on the finish. Our old Carignan still reveals, in this vintage, its altitude terroir with its characteristic freshness balancing its sunny side. Only hillside Carignans of this age can offer such uniqueness.
