Dry Riesling wines from this vineyard are highly aromatic with exotic fruits and dry green herbs. Powerful on the palate with very pronounced acidity.

In the Bavarian vineyard classification of 1828, the Forster Jesuitengarten was classified as the second highest rated vineyard. Wine was already being grown in this location in the Middle Ages - at that time the vineyard belonged to the estates of a Jesuit monastery. The immediately surrounding top vineyards Pechstein, Kirchenstück and Ungeheuer benefit from the complex soil structure, just like the Forster Jesuitengarten.
