Wiper and True x Donzoko 'Birthday Beer .03' Helles Lager 440ml

Our tenth birthday present to ourselves was a beautiful new brewery. To celebrate, we invited six legendary breweries from the UK craft beer scene to help us put it through its paces. The party comes in the form of the resulting Birthday Beers series.

With our German Head Brewer and Donzoko’s relentless commitment to the beauty of lager in all its forms, this collaboration could only ever take one form: Helles. Brewed using a traditional German stepped mash AND a decoction mash to extract maximum flavour from our malts, expect beautifully complex notes of lightly caramelised breadcrust. For a distinctly non-traditional twist, we used 25% buckwheat for its unique, nutty flavour. Suitable for vegans.
