Deep crimson with vibrant purple hues. A flavoursome wine with Blood plum, hints of liquorice and dark chocolate notes. The palate is rich and fleshy with an abundance of blue fruits, and generous tannins, supported by well integrated oak.
The fruit was sourced from an estate in the Riverina from the vineyard at Nericon, it was established by the late Deen De Bortoli in the early 1980’s as one of the first planting of Durif in the region.
