Les "Hauts de Fuissé" comes from two vineyard plots, "Longs poils" and "Scélés", which are located in the village of Fuissé in the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation.
The vines have been planted since the 1980s, well after the creation of the appellation in 1929, hence the classification as ''Mâcon''. The vines face due east on clay-limestone soils giving dense and complex wines. After manual harvest and whole bunch fermentation, the wine is aged in oak for 12 months.
