Finca Can Feixes, Negre Reserva Especial

An exceptional dry 'Reserva' red wine created from a rigorous selection of the very best grapes from the Can Feixes vineyards - and only from the best harvests. Our careful elaboration leads to the maturity, complexity and unique style that this distinguished red wine displays after many years of careful ageing in the bottle.

WINEMAKING: Only own harvest. Selected picking by hand of varietals Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from Can Feixes best plots was followed by a second selection at the bodega and full de-stemming. Long maceration and fermentation in stainless tanks at controlled temperatures.

AGEING: 12 months in 225-litre new French oak barrels from the beast French oak forests, followed by a minimum of 6 years in the bottle in our deep underground cellar. ​

Ready to drink now but ideally suited for storing if cared for properly this wine will evolve favourably over 10 years.
