Domaine La Loyane Lirac Rouge, Rhone, France
Lots of fruit on the nose and the palate with a freshness not often found in wines made this far South.
Raspberries and cherries are dominant with a good length and silky tannins.
Pairs excellently with fillet of beef , breast of duck and chocolate desserts.
Winemakers for 4 generations, the domaine was created in 2001. This 20 hectare family vineyard is in the process of converting to organic production. The vineyard is 150 years old and has a low yield of 25-30Hl/ha on average. Our wines are typical of the region: strength, finesse, elegance and aromas of black fruit. La Loyane is an area historically occupied by wolves.
