This beautiful pale, rose-gold wine bursts with aromas of fresh raspberries and strawberry bonbons. The palate is a medley of juicy watermelon and summer berry pavlova with a crisp, crunchy finish.
In the Vineyard
The Pinot Meunier vines are planted in one of our lowest blocks where the land flattens out. The fertile soil with a high clay component provides the vines with the nutrients they require to produce a large leaf canopy that helps to ripen the fruit. The grapes were hand-harvested in peak condition in October 2022.
What's in the name?
This is a term that refers to the prize awarded to the horse that looks the best in the parade ring before a race; a horse in peak fitness and with a beautiful shiny coat. The wine? Well, who doesn’t think a Rose is a thing of beauty?
Food Pairing
With the acidity of a white wine and the subtle fruit characters of a red, Pinot Meunier Rosé pairs well with any cheese. It will also be a delicious partner to most seafood, light salads, pasta and rice dishes.
